Business Support Series: Building Reconciliation Into Your Business Plan

Join us on September 27th as we host Indigenous Treaty Partners, just two days prior to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation for a conversation on what reconciliation truly means.

ITP (Indigenous Treaty Partner’s) Indigenous cultural training provides the framework and philosophies that will help non-Indigenous peoples better engage and support Indigenous peoples in Canada. A curriculum focused on the history and rich culture of Indigenous Nations in Canada, our cultural training will transform the people at the workplace, into allies supporting renewed friendships with their Indigenous neighbors.
Key learnings:

  • What is Reconciliation?

  • Strong Foundational awareness of Indigenous history and cultures.

  • Indigenous History: Pre-Contact to Today.

  • Past and present relationships between government/industry and Indigenous peoples.

  • Key tools (Visiting the nation, protocols, etc).
