WEBINAR: Balancing Care and Career: The Hidden Challenge Facing Your Employees

Canada is facing a caregiving crisis. This isn’t just a societal trend - it’s also impacting your workplace. One in three employees is balancing work with caring for an aging parent, a child with complex needs or someone facing medical or mental health challenges.

That’s over 6 million working Canadians who are quietly carrying a second shift that’s unpaid, unrecognized and, most importantly, unsustainable. As our population ages and the need for care grows, this number is only going up.

From a business perspective, caregiving affects productivity, absenteeism, retention and employee wellbeing. Smart organizations are waking up to the reality: supporting caregivers isn’t just compassionate—it’s a strategic advantage.

Join Jenny Theriault, Executive Director, Caregivers Nova Scotia; Liv Mendelsohn, Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence (CCCE), a project of the Azrieli Foundation; and Christa Haanstra, Working Caregivers Project Lead for CCCE, for an eye-opening session on:

· Caregiving trends that are impacting workplaces

· What the data tells us about future trends

· Practical ideas for employers to support working caregivers

Let’s make the invisible visible—and turn awareness into action.
